Evacuable Pellet Die Set

Standard (Circular)

Designed for producing high-quality pressed pellets for laboratory analysis, including FTIR (such as KBr pellets) and XRF applications. With precision-engineered components and mirror-polished pressing surfaces, they ensure smooth, uniform pellets and reliable analytical results. Available in diameters from 2 mm to 150 mm, these die sets offer versatility and consistent performance for a wide range of pellet-making requirements.

Heatable Pellet Die Set

300° – 500° Options with Temperature Controllers

Designed for pellet preparation under controlled heating conditions, these heatable pellet die sets are ideal for applications where temperature plays a critical role in pellet quality. Supplied with an integrated temperature controller, they enable precise heating during pressing to enhance pellet uniformity and bonding. Precision-engineered with polished pressing surfaces, they produce smooth, consistent pellets for FTIR, XRF, and other analytical applications, and are available in a wide range of sizes to suit diverse laboratory requirements.

Square Pellet Pressing Die

The first detector to bring 0D-1D-2D and 3D data to your diffractometer

Designed for producing square/rectangle-shaped pressed pellets for laboratory analysis, these square pellet die sets are ideal for FTIR, XRF, and other material testing applications where non-circular pellets are required. Precision-engineered with smooth, polished pressing surfaces, they ensure uniform pellet formation and reliable results, and are available in a range of square sizes to meet diverse laboratory needs.

Split Pressing Pellet Die

Easy Pellet Removal

Designed for easy pellet removal and challenging sample materials, these splittable pellet die sets feature a die body that separates into multiple segments, allowing pellets to be extracted without damage. Ideal for brittle, sticky, or difficult-to-release samples, they are precision-engineered with smooth pressing surfaces to ensure uniform pellet formation and reliable results for FTIR, XRF, and other analytical applications.

Ring Pressing Pellet Die

For XRF

Designed for XRF sample preparation where ring-shaped pellets are required, these ring die sets produce uniform, reproducible ring pellets that fit XRF spectrometer holders and automated systems. Engineered with precision tolerances and smooth pressing surfaces, they ensure consistent compaction, optimal density, and reliable analytical results for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) applications. Ideal for high-throughput labs and routine XRF workflows, these die sets support accurate elemental analysis and improved signal stability by forming perfectly defined ring samples for mineral, soil, cement, environmental, and industrial material testing

Boric Acid XRF Pellet Pressing Die Set

For XRF

Designed for XRF sample preparation using boric acid as a binder/matrix, this boric acid XRF pellet pressing die set produces high-quality pressed pellets for accurate X-ray fluorescence analysis. In many XRF workflows, boric acid powder is mixed with finely ground sample to act as a binding and support matrix that improves pellet strength and homogeneity without interfering with elemental detection. Precision-engineered with polished pressing surfaces, the die set ensures uniform pellet compaction and reliable analytical results, making it ideal for routine XRF testing in geology, environmental, cement, soil, and industrial material applications.

Precision Power in a Portable Package

A compact, benchtop hydraulic press engineered for preparing high-quality pellets from powders, especially for KBr-based pellets used in FTIR or solid-sample prep for XRF, XRD, or other analyses. This press delivers up to 2 tons of pressure, producing consistent 7 mm-diameter pellets via a 7 mm die assembly. The integrated pressure gauge ensures reproducible pressure for repeatable results, while the small footprint and lightweight design make it ideal for cramped labs or glove-box use. With simple operation and low maintenance, this press is a cost-effective solution when you need reliable pelletization for quantitative and qualitative analytical work.
